• The proceeds of your donation to cancer research are matched at a minimum of dollar for dollar by the physicians at the UAB Department of Radiation Oncology
• Your contribution can be leveraged to match research funds at a dramatic rate.  Historically, funding can achieve 10x  plus return in terms of grant funding achieved
• Your donation stays right in the community and directly benefits the research programs of local UAB cancer researchers as they they new ways of effectively treating various cancers
• Your donation goes dollar for dollar towards cancer research and is utilized both for the creation of research endowments as well as direct contributions to laboratory expense packages that help bridge the enormous cost of maintaining a research program
  
• The non-profits administrative costs are extremely low due to robust volunteer network of ROAR.  More money raised goes straight to Radiation Oncology research at UAB
